How do I hold a video call with a customer?

How to start a video call for a project, how the customer gets in, and who lets them in.

How does the customer get in?

From the ⋮ of a project that has a customer, Video call with a customer starts a call or gives you a link for later. It needs ErgoMeeting and Video calls with customers and guests switched on under ErgoWeb → Settings → Customer portal; it does not appear on a cancelled project.

A guest is let in by the call's host — whoever started it, or anyone in the office who opens and closes rooms. A call holds up to ten guests; members of the office do not count. Each call's minutes are counted in the office's month and charged in credits; as the monthly safety limit draws near, whoever manages the subscription is warned.

From a customer’s or a partner’s profile, Video call starts or schedules a call without a project too: you choose when, how long, the subject and who comes from the office, and the invitation goes by email from the office’s ErgoMail — again, if the time changes. If the partner has an office of its own in Ergothiki, you choose who from there comes in with their own account (only the owner is ticked by default); they come in as participants and do not see the recording.

A call about a project is started by whoever creates projects:
