Scenarios

Managing projects the project from the offer to closing

How do I create a project, and what does each of its tabs hold? How to create your first project, add its work items — your own or partners' — and what each of its tabs holds. ~4 min read What do I record on each work item for fees and payments? The agreed fee, the amount on your own invoice, VAT and payments — how you record them and how the payment status is worked out. ~1 min read Where do I enter the KAEK, and what form does it take? The Hellenic Cadastre code (KAEK) is entered on each work item; the -00-00 ending is filled in for you. ~2 min read Greece How do I set up the office's service catalogue? Which services you switch on, which are defaults, how to add your own and how to retire one without losing anything. ~3 min read How do I work with another office on Ergothiki? What happens when you assign a work item to a partner who has an office of their own on Ergothiki — and when they assign one to you. ~2 min read Where do I see the projects' locations and map? Where the office has worked: the list of locations with projects, and the map with a pin for each. ~1 min read What do the statuses mean, and how do I close a project? What each status of a project and its items means, and how a project is closed through the closing check. ~2 min read How do I set up and use project templates? A template holds the usual shape of one kind of project — items, checklist, expenses — so each new one starts ready. ~2 min read How do I create a project from a permit's documents? Upload the PDFs of a building permit; what you would otherwise type is read, and you choose what goes into the project, and where. ~2 min read Greece What is the customer portal, and what does the customer see? How to open the portal, what the customer sees, which files you show them and what they can send you. ~2 min read How do I make, send and convert an offer? An offer is made with a project's own steps: issue, send, new versions with their documents, and conversion to a project once it is accepted. ~3 min read How do I read and change the projects' timeline? How to read the bars and marks, how to move dates with the mouse or the keyboard, and who can change them. ~2 min read What does Planning show: next step, team load, project forecast? How to see what comes next on each project, who you are waiting for, how busy each person is and when each project is expected to finish. ~2 min read How does the Control Centre show what needs attention today? How to see on one page what is critical, what needs watching, what cannot be judged and what is ready to close — and how to deal with each. ~2 min read
