# What does the My tasks page show?

> Your open tasks and the work items that are yours, nearest deadline first.

**My tasks** gathers everything assigned to you, from across the office, on one page. You will find it in **Team › Me › My tasks**; beside it is how many things are overdue or due today. Everyone has it, and each person sees their own.

At the top, five figures: **overdue**, **for today**, **this week**, **waiting on others** — the tasks you gave someone else that are not closed — and **done (7 days)**.

| Tab | What it shows | What you can do there |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Today | Everything with a due date up to the end of the week, in sections — Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, Later this week: tasks, work items, checklist points, your appointments and the ErgoMail emails assigned to you that wait for an answer | Tick off what is done — and «Undo» if it was pressed by mistake; the title opens each one where it lives, and the project's name opens the project |
| Tasks | The tasks assigned to you, by due date — Overdue, This week, Later, No due date; with **Active**, **Done** (the last 30 days) and **All** | Tick them off; the title opens the task in a panel at the side, where you change it, mark it done or delete it; its **History** shows who changed what, newest first. **New task** opens the same panel empty, with you as the person in charge |
| Work items | The work items assigned to you, by project — as on the member's profile; with **Active**, **On hold**, **Done** and **All** | Change the status on the row or mark them done; select several to change their status or due date together, or complete them — those that do not change (a shared item's status belongs to the partner's office, or the permission is missing) are counted. They group by project, status or due date and sort by due date, status or code; each row shows **my time / estimate** (confirmed entries only; red above the estimate). On each project's header, **Checklist n/m** counts the project's checklist steps assigned to you (done / all) — the checklist belongs to the project, not to an item. Where the office records time per work item, **Log time** gives each selected item's day the same value — like a cell in My time, it replaces it. Their name opens the project |
| Checklist | The open checklist items of projects that are assigned to you | Tick them; your own item needs no other permission |
| Appointments | Your appointments, as on the member's profile | Open and change them as in Appointments |
| Mail | The ErgoMail emails assigned to you, the most recent first; the answered ones are shown faded | The title opens the conversation in ErgoMail |
| Projects | The projects you are in charge of or have a work item in, with what is yours in each: your open work, your next due date, your time this month; with **Responsible** and **Member** | The name opens the project |
| Done | What you completed in the last 30 days | **Reopen** puts it back among the open ones |
| Assigned to others | The tasks you created and assigned to another member: overdue, in progress and recently done, to whom and when they last changed; at the side, how many each one has | **Reminder** sends the member a notification — once a day for each task; **Reopen** reopens a done one; beside it, **Notification settings** leads to the one card where you choose which notifications you receive |

**Board** shows the tasks, work items and checklist points in columns — To do, In progress, On hold, Done (7 days); moving a card to another column, or with its own select, changes its status. A task is completed with its own ✓. **Calendar** shows your month: the days with a due date and with an appointment are marked, each in its own colour, and beside it is what falls on each day. **List** takes you back to the tabs.

On **Today**, at the side: your appointments of the day, the week's load — for each day what falls due and the hours you recorded against the day's hours by the office hours (red when you go over; only confirmed entries count), with the non-working days faded — and what was assigned to you recently.

An email in another member's personal box never shows here, even if it is assigned to you.

### What do the deadline colours mean?

A red date has passed. An amber one is due today. Where there is no date it says **No due date**, and those come last.

Ticking a task off here needs the same permission as the office's list:

| Permission | Office Owner | Office administrator | Project manager | Technical staff | Secretariat | Accounting | Website manager |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Create and edit tasks | ✓yes | ✓yes | ✓yes | ✓yes | ✓yes | ✓yes | ✓yes |

All the office's tasks, not only yours, are under **Daily → Tasks**.
