# Where do I see the projects' locations and map?

> Where the office has worked: the list of locations with projects, and the map with a pin for each.

Every project, customer or field work appointment can have a **location**: pick it from the list, search by address, or type in coordinates. Locations with projects are gathered under **Statistics**, on the **Locations** tab: the map and beside it the list.

| Part | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **List** | The locations that have projects, with a search and how many projects each has |
| **Map** | One pin for each location with projects, sized by how many. Pressing it shows the name, the number of projects and a link to the location's page |

The map shows only numbers of projects — no titles, customers or amounts. A location's own page lists its projects with their details; it also opens from any project, for whoever can see the project. A location without coordinates is left off the map; if there are none at all, the page says there are no projects with a location yet.

Statistics are open to whoever holds their permission:

| Permission | Office Owner | Office administrator | Project manager | Technical staff | Secretariat | Accounting | Website manager |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Reach the statistics | ✓yes | ✓yes | ✓yes | —no | —no | ✓yes | —no |

The map and the address search use Google's maps. If they fail to load the page says so; your locations and projects are not affected.
